Deleting your data

Klyp lets you delete your personal data and the content linked to your account at any time. Depending on what you want to delete, two options are available.

1. Disconnect a social network account (partial)

To remove Klyp's access to a specific account (Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Discord, Telegram, Snapchat):

  1. Open the Klyp app → Settings → "Connected platforms" section
  2. Tap the × button next to the account to remove

The access token associated with that account is immediately deleted from our servers. You can also revoke access directly from the settings of the relevant third-party app (e.g. myaccount.google.com/permissions for Google/YouTube, or Facebook's "Apps and websites" settings).

2. Fully delete your Klyp account and all your data

For a complete deletion (account, access tokens for all connected platforms, statistics history, drafts, videos pending processing):

  1. Send an email to contact@lynxion.fr from the address associated with your Klyp account, with the subject "Account deletion request"
  2. We confirm the deletion within 30 days at the latest (usually within 72 hours)

This deletion is final and irreversible: it erases your account, all stored OAuth tokens, your statistics history, your drafts, and any video still present on our servers. Videos already published to your social networks are not affected (Klyp never has control over what you have published once publishing is complete) — to remove them, you must do so directly from the relevant platform.
